The Funnel Scoop is a small scoop with a built-in funnel in the handle. When food materials such as millet, sesame, or oatmeal need to be transferred to a container, there is no need to worry about finding a matching scoop and container. Simply use the Funnel Scoop to scoop the food material and then spin it. The food material will be poured into the container through the funnel in the handle. This not only prevents spills but also improves efficiency in the kitchen.
The Funnel Scoop is made using plastic molding, a simple and cost-effective production process. With dimensions of 200mm in length, 100mm in width, and 36mm in height, it is designed to be compact and easy to handle.
During the design process, the team faced the challenge of determining the optimal size for the product. However, due to the common materials used and the simplicity of the production process, they were able to develop a product that met their specifications.
Extensive research was conducted to ensure the effectiveness of the Funnel Scoop. The creators consulted books, collected data from various sources, and gained insights through kitchen practice and user experience. The results showed that combining the functions of a shovel and a funnel improved the efficiency of grain transfer in the kitchen, without any waste during the process.
The Funnel Scoop project started in November 2015 in Wuhan and was completed in December 2015. It is a testament to the designers' commitment to creating practical and innovative solutions for everyday tasks in the kitchen.
The Funnel Scoop has been recognized for its excellence and received the Iron A' Design Award in the Bakeware, Tableware, Drinkware, and Cookware Design category in 2016. This prestigious award is given to designs that meet professional and industrial requirements, integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics.
With the Funnel Scoop, transferring grains and other food materials has never been easier. Say goodbye to spills and wasted ingredients, and embrace a more efficient and enjoyable cooking experience.
